Pros

I dont have anything good to write here. They only pay good salary when they hire you and talk very sweet.

Cons

There are no interactions between team members and manager (at HnM) if you are placed at client site There are no meetings or discussions with HnM manager. You feel like an orphan since you are treated as a contractor - both at client side and HnM. There are no appraisals. At whatever salary you join HnM, the same salary you will keep getting for next 2-3 years. The leave policy is only 12 leaves for first year. Till the time you are in probabtion period (i.e. initial 6 months) you are not allowed to take leaves. There are no processes followed in this company. There is no timely bonus.

Pros

I had worked at Helios & Matheson Analytics Inc full-time for more than 2 years. Great coworkers who are really smart and respectful. In fact, I would stress on the genuinely nice portion. They senior management is quite knowledge about the finance space and will help you to succeed if your from a technical background to understand the business aspect. I got great experience working on analytics projects in the Financial Services space. The company really cares about its employees and treats them really well. Work-life balance is awesome. With this experience I got a better opportunity and higher salary in New York with a big bank. You can always bring new ideas to the table and the management is always interested in investing in your learning. Great start for a data analyst looking to gain experience in the Financial Services space.

Cons

You will be working on multiple projects and it can be a challenge at times with less number of resources to meet deadlines. As a result you will spend a lot of time in meetings and giving updates to the project management team. Its essential that employees be given training on maintaining work life balance. This can be stressful at times, but that's what makes this job fun and challenging at the same time.
