Pros

The only pro is you have like a 40 minute lunch

Cons

Management is incompetent. The CEO has a napoleon complex. If you’re not a part of the front office, forget about a decent raise. They had record profits and couldn’t “afford to give raises due to Covid”

Dear Mr./Ms. Anonymous, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about our company. As the CEO, I always appreciate hearing feedback from our employees, even when it's not what we want to hear. We strive to provide a positive and supportive work environment for all of our employees, but it's clear that we missed the mark in your case. I'd love to hear more about your specific concerns so we can work to address them. Regarding raises, I understand that it can be frustrating when you feel like your hard work isn't being rewarded. As you were aware the company grew substantially during the pandemic and when we reached our goals and beat many of our records, we celebrated with everyone and handed out substantial bonuses. If you didn’t receive a pay increase my guess is that your performance was below expectations as all of our A and B players in the office and in our production, environment are very well paid. Rest assured, we are always looking for ways to compensate our employees fairly and will continue to do so as we continue to grow at this rapid pace. Finally, I'm sorry if you feel like we bring our personal problems to work. I can assure you that we do our best to leave our personal lives at the door and focus on creating a positive and productive workplace for everyone. Thank you again for your feedback, and I hope we can work together to improve your experience at our company. Best Regards, Chris Nook

Pros

From a quality manager here at Helix Linear, it’s been exciting to see the impact of the operational leadership that the owner has recently brought in—they’re raising the bar across process discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement. There’s a stronger focus on standardization, root cause, and doing things right the first time, while still maintaining the speed and flexibility our customers expect. It feels like we’re building something more scalable and robust without losing what’s made Helix successful.

Cons

A few challenges from a quality standpoint: The push toward stronger processes means more structure, which can take some getting used to across teams Speed is a big strength here, but it can occasionally put pressure on documentation and standard work if you’re not staying disciplined With new operational leadership and changes happening, alignment isn’t always perfect yet—it’s improving, but still a work in progress Overall, it’s the kind of friction you’d expect from a company stepping up its operational game.

Pros

Other than some of the employees, there really aren't any pros. Hostile environment and no quality dept. Because everyone quit.

Cons

CEO is toxic and an extreme micro manager who pits everyone against each other. He creates and enjoys a hostile environment.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I do want to clarify one important point, as accuracy matters to us and to anyone reading these reviews. The characterization of our Quality function is not accurate. Helix Linear has achieved and continues to maintain an AS9100-certified aerospace quality management system, which requires rigorous processes, disciplined documentation, continuous auditing, and a culture of accountability. This certification is not a one-time milestone—it is earned and upheld through ongoing third-party audits and daily execution across engineering, manufacturing, and inspection. Quality is deeply embedded in how we operate, especially given the industries we serve, including aerospace, defense, medical, and other high-reliability markets. Our customers depend on us for precision, traceability, and consistency, and we take that responsibility seriously. That said, we recognize that not every experience is the same, particularly during periods of growth and change. We’re committed to continuous improvement—in our systems, our communication, and our culture—and we appreciate feedback that helps us do better. We wish you the best in your next chapter and thank you for taking the time to share your perspective.
