Pros

I worked 23 years in telecom and wasn’t ready to sit out in retirement so I went in search of options here in Charlotte. Got a referral to Mercedes-Benz of Northlake where I met a great group of people from the leadership, sales and parts teams to the techs and service advisors. It’s proven to be a perfect decision for me, where my input is valued and my creativity is encouraged as I look for ways to add value in my role.

Cons

None - Great Place To Work.

Pros

I enjoy meeting our customers. No days are the same. Flexible schedule. I'm the face of Hendrick GM parts and understand the importance of my role in keeping our customer base and expanding it.

Cons

None. I have great support and I bring back information that helps determine decisions to improve sales.

Pros

Solid corporation Corporate culture is positive Community initiatives are second to none Free health care Freedom to move

Cons

It's sales. When the economy is soft, commissions can be tight. Most locations work on a volume pay plan rather than gross profit. Most of your coworkers' primary qualification is the ability to fog a mirror. While you can largely come and go as you please, it's still expected that you are on the lot no less than 50 hours a week, leaving very little room for work-life balance.
