Pros

Working for Hendrick Automotive Group has been a great experience overall. One of the biggest advantages is being part of one of the largest and most respected dealer groups in the country. The support systems, team environment, and advancement opportunities make it a great place for anyone serious about building a long-term career in automotive sales or management.

Cons

Working for Hendrick Automotive Group does come with high expectations, but that is also part of what makes the company successful. While the hours in the automotive industry can be demanding, the experience, training, and career advancement opportunities often make it worthwhile for people who are passionate about the business.

Cons

None. I have great support and I bring back information that helps determine decisions to improve sales.

Pros

Solid corporation Corporate culture is positive Community initiatives are second to none Free health care Freedom to move

Cons

It's sales. When the economy is soft, commissions can be tight. Most locations work on a volume pay plan rather than gross profit. Most of your coworkers' primary qualification is the ability to fog a mirror. While you can largely come and go as you please, it's still expected that you are on the lot no less than 50 hours a week, leaving very little room for work-life balance.
