Pros

Benefits are very nice for single coverage no premium for health care compensation is fair and bonuses are abundant for the work i do down to earth colleagues for the most part and management has been fair monthly luncheons for update and motivational time Sometimes can be good opportunities to move to different areas if one isn't right for you

Cons

not very family friendly. Many people have children and because of very long hours it can be difficult. No maternity leave pay; more than likely your job will be there but not guaranteed. 40 hr limit is very strict but don't get allotted lunch time during week, can put your full benefits in jeopardy. some hesitation about sales management picking and choosing favorites and rules never stay constant!

Pros

I enjoy meeting our customers. No days are the same. Flexible schedule. I'm the face of Hendrick GM parts and understand the importance of my role in keeping our customer base and expanding it.

Cons

None. I have great support and I bring back information that helps determine decisions to improve sales.

Pros

Solid corporation Corporate culture is positive Community initiatives are second to none Free health care Freedom to move

Cons

It's sales. When the economy is soft, commissions can be tight. Most locations work on a volume pay plan rather than gross profit. Most of your coworkers' primary qualification is the ability to fog a mirror. While you can largely come and go as you please, it's still expected that you are on the lot no less than 50 hours a week, leaving very little room for work-life balance.
