Pros

There is definitely potential for new hires - Health benefits were a plus. Paid time off. Paid sick days. It department is always extremely helpful

Cons

Management only cares about getting new hires in and not employees that have spent years with the company. Added duties no additional pay. No work/home life balance. Forced to stay late to make the numbers look better. Employee pay rate doesn’t matter to management. They only care that you do you job and show up every day.

I enjoy meeting our customers. No days are the same. Flexible schedule. I'm the face of Hendrick GM parts and understand the importance of my role in keeping our customer base and expanding it.

Cons

None. I have great support and I bring back information that helps determine decisions to improve sales.

Cons

It's sales. When the economy is soft, commissions can be tight. Most locations work on a volume pay plan rather than gross profit. Most of your coworkers' primary qualification is the ability to fog a mirror. While you can largely come and go as you please, it's still expected that you are on the lot no less than 50 hours a week, leaving very little room for work-life balance.
