Overall this place has very good intentions. The MINI brand is by far the coolest in the industry! - Motoring Advisor Hendrick Automotive Group Employee Review

Pros

The MINI brand is a fantastic product being owned by BMW. The Hendrick Automotive group has a very good reputation for being different than other car dealers and is slowly changing the minds of people and their opinions of car dealerships. They have really good benefits and good intentions for their employees. Very very easy to move up into management positions.

Cons

The amount of hours one spent working daily was not beneficial due to the amount of traffic the MINI brand has flowing currently and the amount of Motoring Advisors Hendrick wants to have on the floor. They could benefit from a rotating schedule so their employees don't get burned out quickly. Pay is ok, but should be adjusted to fit each brand. There is a lot of opportunity to make money, but you have to not want anything else but that in order to be successful.

Pros

I enjoy meeting our customers. No days are the same. Flexible schedule. I'm the face of Hendrick GM parts and understand the importance of my role in keeping our customer base and expanding it.

Cons

None. I have great support and I bring back information that helps determine decisions to improve sales.

Pros

Solid corporation Corporate culture is positive Community initiatives are second to none Free health care Freedom to move

Cons

It's sales. When the economy is soft, commissions can be tight. Most locations work on a volume pay plan rather than gross profit. Most of your coworkers' primary qualification is the ability to fog a mirror. While you can largely come and go as you please, it's still expected that you are on the lot no less than 50 hours a week, leaving very little room for work-life balance.
