Pros

There are a lot of wonderful people who work there. I've definitely developed great relationships with kind people. The company itself, does a lot of parties and events for their employees and that is definitely nice, but I'd prefer to have been paid more and respected more. The benefits are decent, and I'd say there is fair PTO time.

Cons

The particular department that I was in, was pretty horrible. The director and SOME of the managers made no effort to care for their employees needs. It means a lot when employees are leaving one after the other to move on to other opportunities. That should tell the department and/or company that there is something terribly wrong. I also know other departments are this way as well. I cannot believe how incredibly cliquey and micromanaged the entire company is, and especially the department I was in. Since it is such a large company, people's opinions don't seem to matter.

Pros

Henry Schein has a genuinely collaborative culture where teamwork and respect are part of daily work life. Leadership is supportive and encourages open communication, professional development, and continuous learning. There are great opportunities to grow your skill set, especially through cross functional work with teams across pricing, product data, sales, and operations. Work–life balance is solid, the company has remote opportunities and is a respected leader in the healthcare industry. I also appreciate the company’s commitment to community outreach and social responsibility—it reinforces that we’re working for a mission-driven organization.

Cons

Like most large organizations, processes can sometimes feel slow due to the number of teams involved. Change management can take time, and cross-department alignment requires patience. However, leadership has been taking steps to improve workflows and increase efficiency.
