Pros

I cannot find 1 redeeming quality. Oh wait cake- they sometimes have cake in the break rooms (left over from a party you weren’t invited to) If you don’t like cake then it’s not a “Pro” In all fairness there are a few managers that are excellent but they are probably not in the department you are applying for because their staff actually stays and doesn’t turn over.

Cons

The culture they sell is a bold face lie- don’t buy it. The company is run by all male former accountants (not sure if that’s good or bad- good if your a male accountant / bad if your female). Medical is a hot mess- no one is on the same page ever and everyone pretty much dislikes everyone else Most middle and upper management has been there 10-25 years and they have not developed any current skills in technology, management or leadership theories Career Development- what’s that? Do not come here if you actually plan to learn anything or advance in your career. It will just not happen and in fact, you will look crazy for even having such an expectation. Do not waste your time there- you will devalue yourself in the marketplace and you will not learn any cutting edge skills on any level.

Pros

Henry Schein has a genuinely collaborative culture where teamwork and respect are part of daily work life. Leadership is supportive and encourages open communication, professional development, and continuous learning. There are great opportunities to grow your skill set, especially through cross functional work with teams across pricing, product data, sales, and operations. Work–life balance is solid, the company has remote opportunities and is a respected leader in the healthcare industry. I also appreciate the company’s commitment to community outreach and social responsibility—it reinforces that we’re working for a mission-driven organization.

Cons

Like most large organizations, processes can sometimes feel slow due to the number of teams involved. Change management can take time, and cross-department alignment requires patience. However, leadership has been taking steps to improve workflows and increase efficiency.
