Pros

It is a Fortune 500 company It is located in Melville, Long Island, wich is a relatively quiet town The building is superbly clean and equiped with state-of-the-art facilities

Cons

Office politics is high The level of hypocrasy is unbelievalbe and even repugnant Most employees do not know what their position entails, so they don't know what they are doing. They are more inclined to blame other employees behind close door. Upper management does not clearly state a new employee's performance in order to guide the new employee, but just lets go of the employee

Pros

Henry Schein has a genuinely collaborative culture where teamwork and respect are part of daily work life. Leadership is supportive and encourages open communication, professional development, and continuous learning. There are great opportunities to grow your skill set, especially through cross functional work with teams across pricing, product data, sales, and operations. Work–life balance is solid, the company has remote opportunities and is a respected leader in the healthcare industry. I also appreciate the company’s commitment to community outreach and social responsibility—it reinforces that we’re working for a mission-driven organization.

Cons

Like most large organizations, processes can sometimes feel slow due to the number of teams involved. Change management can take time, and cross-department alignment requires patience. However, leadership has been taking steps to improve workflows and increase efficiency.
