- Depending on where you fall, some of the management is truly terrible to work for. Changing goal posts, lack of clarity, double standards, managing up and not down. protecting their self and upper management not really looking into it. Really rough.
- The larger company turns a blind eye to what is going on in the IT department and allows information to be funneled to them without doing any real digging. From an IT side, you really have no safe way to complain if it falls within the "inner circle" of management.
- a shift to moving away from hiring inside and having people learn the skills to move up has been replaced by managers who don't know how to "do" the actual work. Ive seen EXTREMELY talented people let go without justification. We are told to basically not ask questions.
