Pros

There are no pros to working here that you cant find literally anywhere else. Walmart and Mcdonalds pay their employees more and have more benefits.

Cons

Toxic culture, poor leadership, and serious workplace concerns My experience at this company was extremely negative. The workplace culture felt toxic, unprofessional, and deeply unfair. Management often appeared disorganized, dismissive, and more focused on protecting their own inner circle than supporting employees or creating a healthy work environment. There was a strong sense of favoritism. If you were not part of the management group or close with their friends, you were often expected to take on a disproportionate amount of the workload while others were allowed to socialize or avoid responsibility. Communication was poor, expectations shifted constantly, and employees were often left feeling unsupported. Compensation was one of the worst aspects of working here. In my experience, the company did not consistently honor agreements and seemed willing to change expectations or terms with little warning. Because the company often hires people with little industry experience, it felt like younger or newer employees were especially vulnerable to being taken advantage of. There were also serious concerns around discrimination, harassment, and accountability. I found the environment uncomfortable and at times openly hostile. Racist comments and behavior were often excused as jokes rather than addressed seriously. These attitudes seemed to be reflected not only in day-to-day interactions, but also in leadership and editorial decision-making. I also witnessed situations involving inappropriate comments and conduct that I believe should have been handled with far more care and professionalism. Instead, the response from leadership and HR only reinforced my belief that employee safety and dignity were not real priorities. Overall, I found this to be a company with poor communication, weak leadership, low accountability, and a culture that takes advantage of inexperienced talent. I would strongly caution young professionals, especially people of color, to think carefully before accepting a position here.
