Pros
Highgate is a fasted paced company. We work hard and are recognized for our contributions. Highgate provides opportunity to grow skills, and I continually feel challenged. Working remotely, I am able to constantly collaborate with peers and leaders. I have an amazing leadership and love to see the impact that my team and I have been able to make. I have never had a boring day! I feel valued and challenged to rise to the occasion. This is not a traditional organization. Creativity and out of the box thinking is encouraged and welcomed.
Cons
Being someone who has a strong work ethic, I find work-life balance to be more difficult. However, I must recognize that is not a Highgate issue, but a me issue. I find joy in my work, so it's easy to find myself working. I will say that some of the internal tools that we have are limited. However, Highgate works hard to provide state of the art systems for our hotels.
