To be a placed that works with kids with autism , their relationship development and support of new staff is absolutely awful. Most people are territorial and will quickly correct you in an aggressive manner. The director never supported new staff and expected new hires to know immediately what to do. If you do anything wrong you will be shamed in front of colleagues. As a working professional for over 15 years - I have never experienced worse leadership. It's concerning when you attend your first staff meeting and the bulk of the conversation is - "um it's annoying when..", "Can we please.." with hand clapping, and "it's not that hard..". All coming from leadership.
