      Pros

      Most of the people you work with within the company, not just specific properties, are absolutely wonderful and show a real drive to improve this industry and to grow themselves and the people around them. Communication from corporate to communities is amazing. Success, education, growth, and customer service are highly valued. Training is not overlooked and classes and refreshers are offered regularly if you are driven to better yourself.

      Cons

      Only one thing that's bothered me enough to write about. The commision structure has changed from above standard to more competitive. Only reason it made the cons list is because we, as employees, had been promised something different previously during some changes being made within the company and have since been capped. The commision structure/compensation is still better than most but had potential to be one of the best offered.

      Pros

      Great benefits which now include Hospital Indemnity, Critical Illness, and Pet Insurance, discount on rent living on-site, great co-workers, and a great Regional team that keeps the company's mission at the forefront of everything they do.

      Cons

      Sometimes it can seem difficult navigating resident issues but truthfully the support we get from management makes this so much easier.

      Pros

      Great people, strong support from leadership, and opportunities for growth. I have been with Highmark for 22 years and have had the opportunity to advance from Maintenance Supervisor to Project Manager. The company values teamwork and promotes from within whenever possible.

      Cons

      Like any growing company, priorities and processes can change quickly, which requires flexibility and adaptability.
