Don't bother if you're a woman - Anonymous employee Hightower Advisors Employee Review

I didn't last long here. In my first week some other colleagues advised me that my boss in particular was known to be a jerk - they were correct. They also told me women don't last long here. They were correct. Expectations weren't clear, I was blamed for my boss's mistakes, and I was given little to no work to do. The work was pointless, hours of meetings that could all be reduced to an email. Oh well. Glad I'm out of there.
