Pros
Company invests heavily in employees and creating a positive workplace culture with ample room for professional development and wonderful benefits. Monthly firm-wide town halls keep everyone abreast of metrics and growth. I don't know if it's our Midwest roots, but Hightower employees take an active interest in each other as people, and my personal/family time is respected. In addition to our existing benefits, we're leading the industry in creating a hyper-flexible hybrid work model starting in 2022--including unlimited PTO, a four-week "work from anywhere" program, and a flexible WFH/office model with dedicated days in the office on a monthly basis designed to promote collaboration and build momentum. Managers genuinely care about their teams, and actively look for opportunities to nurture talent, develop career paths, and promote star performers. The work that we do in our respective departments is interesting and varied. There are no dull days! We're growing rapidly, so our pace is understandably fast, but there's a strong attention to detail and to doing things the right way. My job is challenging, but this is a great place to work! As a woman, I feel that my expertise, experience, and perspective are all appreciated and valued.
Cons
Hightower is an exemplary firm, but our pace of growth and change might be challenging to some.
