Culture of dying at the cross of the project, no profitability sharing (standard bonuses), management is derogatory, etc. This contractor grew exponentially in my time at the company and along the way, they lost the culture of creating builders. When you grow as fast as they did, you have to standardize things about how a project runs, but not to the point that management cannot use their own critical thinking to make decisions, business and constructability.
