Pros

Very good starting pay ($12/hour) and lots of overtime Decent insurance after 90 days Very respectful co-workers Chance to take financial and other courses on-the-clock!!

Cons

Very physical; we work on cement floors all day with no padding Days can reach 12 hours in December Less than 8-hour days in January and February (makes budgeting difficult) Management expects "yes sir" or "yes ma'am"; some team leaders are very strict regarding talking to other workers Very strict attendance policy. Regardless of the circumstance, we are disciplined if we miss a day of work (even when in the hospital!!) Must have either personal time or vacation accrued to avoid discipline.

Pros

good pay. 6 paid holidays.

Cons

Distribution center only cares about numbers, not employees. Keep your production up to 90 or above or you're a goner. Fellow employees wil mow you down trying to pull their items. and if you're slow, look out, you have to get out ot THEIR way. And of course you can't make your production if you can't work and have to wait for others to fill their orders.
