Pros

Store is closed on Sunday and closes nightly at 8pm. Salary is decent and get Christmas Bonus.

Cons

No work/life balance. You will work 2 open-close shifts each week (7am-9pm) including a Friday or Saturday. Minimum schedule is 55 hours per week. Demands to complete all work will mean you actually will work 60-80 hours if you care about getting to the next level. 6 day work weeks from Thanksgiving to inventory at end of January. Co-Managers own Seasonal. You will be constantly opening freight, setting aisles, and moving aisles again as new freight arrives weekly. Nothing arrives by plan-o-gram, but it all must go to the sales floor and out of the backroom. This means touching/displaying the same freight multiple times until it finally gets to where it belongs. 75% of your day will be merchandising. District Management does not empathize and seems to be hateful in most locations system wide. Payroll does not allow for hourly employees to complete all expected tasks, so it falls on salaried team (Manager and Co-Manager) to get it done.
