WORST WORK ENVIRONMENT - HR- Department Hobby Lobby Employee Review

If you believe in separation of religion and place of work- DO NOT COME HERE. Management takes every opportunity to preach, pray and shove it's beliefs down your throat. This includes advising on who you should vote for in general elections. There is NO tolerance for people of a different faith or background other than white, straight and evangelical. -Promotions are not given based on performance or merit. It is literally who has been there the longest. If you can hang in there and kiss enough a** you'll be director of HR soon enough. -Constant turnover in the HR, Leave and Projects departments -Managers are not there to help employees grow or be challenged- you are there to make them look good. -Separation of departments- you are not to collaborate or be friends with people in other departments during work hours. -Bad benefits - Will deny you unemployment (Guaranteed) - Propaganda against creating a union all over -Out dated systems- seriously when I tried to find another job it was a running joke with my interviewers that they would have to teach me all brand new software- since Hobby Lobby did not give me any experience. This hindered me from being able to find work.
