Pros

Above average salary and benefits. Variable work and hours(pro and con). Travel perks.

Cons

Must be open to travel and relocation. Not always a travel requirement, but if you are not open to it at all, it may affect hiring decision. Hours can be long, depends on project schedules and workload. Overall worklife balance is not great as career progresses - Senior Engineers an PMs work immensely long hours.

Holder Construction Response

Thank you for sharing your honest feedback! Holder uniquely and strategically operates as “one company” across the country. This includes a business model of traveling to where our clients need us to build their next project resulting in over 90 percent of our work coming from repeat clients. For our associates, this translates to traveling across the country to meet our clients’ project needs and promise a similar experience wherever we build. We always keep associates’ location preferences in mind when making project assignments and do our best to honor location requests.
