Pros

Paid certifications/trainings such as OSHA trainings, equipment operation certifications, ARC flash training, etc.

Cons

Extremely poor communication between all levels of management. Poor work-life balance. Weekend work is not required, but it is frowned upon if you don’t work weekends. Usually unaware if working Saturday/Sunday till Friday afternoon. Almost impossible to take PTO. Will not pay out any unused PTO should you decide to leave the company. Raises are hard to come by for field associates. Benefits are sub-par. You’re just another number with this company.

Holder Construction Response

Thank you for your review. Holder values our associates, and we are sorry you had a negative experience with us. We believe open and frequent communication is crucial on our projects, and we continuously look for ways to facilitate better communication on our teams. We also acknowledge the long hours many projects require to deliver strong results to our clients, but would never want extended hours to be the result of internal miscommunication or mismanagement. We support work-life balance and encourage our associates to utilize their PTO throughout the year to recharge.
