The training curriculum is purposely structured to lay a firm foundation from which to build upon. New Hire training develops a baseline so new hires can be coached and evaluated effectively.
As they become seasoned veterans, experienced agents learn how to persuade using different techniques and approaches still following the Trust, Need, Help, Hurry sales model. Veterans often have good intentions by trying to help new hires expedite their learning curve and in doing so may cause confusion which may have happened here.
