The onboarding process was left a lot to be desired, and I didn't learn how to take PTO, invest in my 401K, or use travel perks until a few months into the job.
There is a fair amount of pressure to be online and available throughout the day, and there were few times I would have people reach out to make sure I was working, which felt patronizing.
My biggest con was the way I got let go. I felt I was contributing to the company's growth and working hard each day to meet the company's tight deadlines. But in one zoom call, with someone I'd only met once before, that all came to an end with no real explanation. You can tell he was reading of a script, and didn't look at me during the call.
