This HIE I worked at was independently owned/operated. - Other employees showing up for shifts late-- sometimes HOURS late. No consequences. You're just kind of stuck there until they show. Happened more times than I can count. - Low pay, compared to other hotels in the area. - Owners were always trying to get more for less, cutting corners, etc. Led to some uncomfortable situations.
