Current senior management has destroyed the warm family feel that once existed here. Everyone walks on eggshells. Stay away from this place.

This has been accomplished by the hard work of our over 1,500 employees to change the culture for the better, despite the resistance of a minority who resist change and like to keep things "as they have always been" at the expense of our patients.

It's small enough to really get to know your coworkers which in turn enhances team work and moral. Employees like each other, and enjoy working together, Many have been there for 10+ years. It's the closest to "we're like a big family" being legit than any local hospital system in Western MA. The senior leadership is genuinely invested in supporting the staff, the organization, the community, and the patients. It's refreshing to have a senior leadership team that is approachable and responsive.

Cons

It's a small community hospital so funds are not as exuberant as some of the other health systems in MA and CT, but it's leadership is resourceful and transparent with how funds are utilized.
