Pros

This hospital is dedicated to providing high quality care to every patient, and provides the training and support employees need to succeed. I was encouraged by my supervisor to further my education and to take advantage of the $5,000 annual tuition reimbursement. I have found the leadership team to be approachable and encouraging. The people who work here are amazing, everyone cares about providing the best care and putting patients first.

Cons

The retirement match is not great.

It's small enough to really get to know your coworkers which in turn enhances team work and moral. Employees like each other, and enjoy working together, Many have been there for 10+ years. It's the closest to "we're like a big family" being legit than any local hospital system in Western MA. The senior leadership is genuinely invested in supporting the staff, the organization, the community, and the patients. It's refreshing to have a senior leadership team that is approachable and responsive.

Cons

It's a small community hospital so funds are not as exuberant as some of the other health systems in MA and CT, but it's leadership is resourceful and transparent with how funds are utilized.
