Pros

This organization is focused on both patients and staff. They realize that high quality patient care can not be achieved without employee satisfaction. Senior leadership listens to ideas from front-line team members and puts good ideas into place. Everyone is truly appreciated and that is expressed in big and small ways. Salaries are regularly reviewed to stay competitive, different incentive options and retention bonuses are also offered in high-demand positions. Free coffee is available in the coffee shop and cafeteria every Monday! There is a free employee fitness center available to all staff. If you need a few minutes to decompress, they have relaxation rooms available. This year they added a massage chair to every nursing unit break room. They give every employee a $50 gift certificate for the holidays to use at a local small business to help our community. I used the tuition reimbursement to get my Masters... the tuition reimbursement is $7,000 every year, plus $1,000 for CEU credits every year! The parking is ON CAMPUS! If you are a hard worker looking for a job where you will be listened to, heard, recognized, and appreciated... join our team!

Cons

I have worked here for over 10 years and I am still here for a reason. This place is pretty great!

Pros

It's small enough to really get to know your coworkers which in turn enhances team work and moral. Employees like each other, and enjoy working together, Many have been there for 10+ years. It's the closest to "we're like a big family" being legit than any local hospital system in Western MA. The senior leadership is genuinely invested in supporting the staff, the organization, the community, and the patients. It's refreshing to have a senior leadership team that is approachable and responsive.

Cons

It's a small community hospital so funds are not as exuberant as some of the other health systems in MA and CT, but it's leadership is resourceful and transparent with how funds are utilized.
