Pros
Many hours are available to those who want them. Responsible for recording your own hours and training. Clients with a variety of needs are available so if you feel strongly about working with a specific population (example: Alzheimer patients) you will be able to request that area. Pays decently for the area for the level of care provided.
Cons
There are so many hours available that you may feel pressured to work more than you are able to do comfortably. Scheduling can become confusing or frustrating (see the first point about hours). Mandatory quarterly training/meetings are informative and nice but always seemed to happen when I was suppose to be off, thus meaning I had no day off that week (I worked 6 days).
