Pros
Clients and CAREGivers are matched appropriately and visits are a minimum of an hour, so clients aren’t rushed and receive proper care and the CAREGivers aren’t rushing from one to another and have proper travel time in between. Opportunities to progress internally were good. A great feeling of belonging to the wider Home Instead franchise network and plenty of support from Head Office. They genuinely care for their staff and clients.
Cons
In the franchise I worked, CAREGivers were recruited on the promise of flexibility of working hours, but were sometimes criticised when they couldn’t work extra shifts or increase their working hours.
