Pros

The people. The staff are friendly and care what is happening in your life. The owners have a great open door policy that if you have a concern they want to know about it and they back you up no matter what it is( of course if your wrong they make sure you understand and still look at the issues). The Clients are among the best people I know, and you never know if a supervisor will stop by just to say hello when you are on duty which I think makes this company one that cares about the clients.

Cons

I wish we were compensated for mileage and or travel time between clients. I know this is not done with most companies but it would be nice.

Not good scheduling manager HR lied When they said $1 per mile when transporting clients, they did NOT reimburse at that rate Payroll/paystubs unclear to intentionally confuse caregivers CarePros who have been loyal to the company have been shat on with lower wages than new-hire employees. They allow clients to be racially biased and hateful towards their caregivers NO BENEFITS and things they advertise are not true! No real flexible schedule that they promote and promise in the job ads NO policy written for things that are unclear for example being on call phones are not provided and time is not paid for unless actively providing cares Management will tell lies to the families about why you don't want to be with a certain client every day of every week and will blame it on them being a difficult client when communicating to the family when in reality schedules and availability with classes does not align. Even with proper notice, the scheduling manager will have attitude and try to convince you that you are the one with the problem even though she does not care to take the time to fully understand each persons preferences or availabilities.
