Pros

Great merchandise/prices, nice co-workers. Customers are mostly happy, so interaction is nice.

Cons

Very little training, but associates are still expected to meet (unknown) standards. Store management "leads" by yelling, belittling, and sarcastic put-downs. Poor managers think this will spur workers to try harder, but it leads to a stressful, hostile workplace. Add to that the highly physical nature of the job and minimum wage, and it's no wonder that the turnover is so high.

Pros

My coworkers and a steady wpaycheck. And meeting some great people. The discount is nice.

Cons

This company likes to put all the work on its associates. Anything that’s grunt work or where you have to get your hands dirty. All they care about are pushing out those credit cards. I’ve seen some of the best employees quit because they’re burnt out and don’t get scheduled any hours. I don’t blame them. I’m looking for another job as I type this. My body hurts and I’m being abused physically and taken advantage of.
