Pros

Very profitable (job security guaranteed) Great benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k, vacation...) Above industry pay (in management) Strict policy against discrimination Pro diversity (on paper) Pro growth (fast promotions if you want to advance your career)

Cons

Long hours Very physically strenuous (be prepared to sweat and strain almost every day) High stress (always busy, always having to process freight - every day, all year) Indifferent senior management Poor or inadequate training Very poor work-life balance (inhumane scheduling, fatigue) Cookie cutter social expectation - clear expectations on which personality types are desirable. This can lead to a high school-like environment where some people clearly belong and some don't. This can negatively impact morale and even mental health in some cases. Implicitly sexist environment - Due to the physical demands to repeatedly lift or move heavy items, many female staff members frequently page male team members to lift or move items that female team members can lift either solely or in pairs.

Pros

My coworkers and a steady wpaycheck. And meeting some great people. The discount is nice.

Cons

This company likes to put all the work on its associates. Anything that’s grunt work or where you have to get your hands dirty. All they care about are pushing out those credit cards. I’ve seen some of the best employees quit because they’re burnt out and don’t get scheduled any hours. I don’t blame them. I’m looking for another job as I type this. My body hurts and I’m being abused physically and taken advantage of.
