Thanks for sharing your insight with us. I would genuinely welcome the opportunity to speak and discuss your concerns in more detail because I really want to hear about how you feel we are treating our People unfairly.
My own view is that fairness is fundamental to who we are, it is at the heart of our strategy and our People promises.
Sometimes though – and let’s be honest about this – a commitment to fairness requires a bit of self-sacrifice. It means we have to do that little bit more, or that little bit less, to make things fair for all People. In a business our size, that means that there will be individuals who feel that their personal needs are not 100% met. Unfortunately, that’s what happens when you make things fair.
