I have been employed by Homeserve for 17 years. Worked with many different people and gained some fantastic experiences in different areas of the business. What really stands out for me throughout this long journey in my employment so far which cannot go unmentioned is my current leader/manager Vicki McGurk. Vicki has been my mentor, my support function, my “go to” in the everyday challenges faced. She listens, acts, and provides such a comfort to me and my team with her honesty, transparency, and clear expectations. I cannot emphasise enough on Vicki’s leadership style which enables me and my team to perform for the business at our highest of capabilities. Knowing her job is not easy at the level of expectations for senior managers Vicki never shows any form of stress, impatience or negativity towards developmental challenges. A fantastic place of work and an even better manager to report into. Thanks Vicki from the whole homeworking team at Homeserve. You are amazing!
