Pros
I've got to say that over the last year I have been really "engaged" by this great ambitious business. I've had the chance to speak to senior directors who are very easy to talk too, been developed and gained a mentor within the Marketing Team. HomeServe has really turned a corner over the past couple of years and turned me from negative to positive. I turned up for the great wages on offer but now I genuinely feel satisfied dealing with our Customer base and feel completely empowered to make decisions which I feel are the right things to do. At HomeServe there is a very vibrant culture and it's like my second family. We get treated to pizza lunches, x mas party's, firework displays, fairground attractions and that's all added to a very good wage. I would have recommended us a couple of years ago purely because of the wage but now it's a truly great place to work. It's not all roses and it's a very hard job, especially when you've committed to 60 hours overtime! but I get a feeling of satisfaction and a sense of worth being here! We have a great sharesave scheme in place Top notch catering facilities Plenty of jobs available and we are a growing business!
Cons
Talking all day is a hard job, I'd like more breaks. Wouldn't anyone? : ) Progression is completely stalled for a year when you have had a disciplinary warning. Personally, I have used the time to strengthen my own skills to put me in a better position for the future,
