Pros

None, Can't think of one.

Cons

I worked for this company for 28 years. Wish I would have left earlier. They have just about destroyed their building controls ACS division, starting with the dissolving of the R&D department in Arlington heights. With Kevin Gilligan at the lead, they further wiped out the service dept, and never recovered. With No R&D, and buying anyone they can get their hands on to make up for it, they have not really produced ANYTHING in the building controls industry worth a good wet fart. Their motto in the 80s were "Our people are our most valuable asset", but with Cote pulling down ungodly bonuses while they cut back more and more on the little guys pay and benefits, the motto should be changed to "Our stockholders are our most valuable asset". The ACS division is so worried about anyone taking the little share of market they have left, that they lock down their controls as tight as possible to make it as hard as hell for other companies to take over their jobs, which are very poorly maintained and serviced. My feelings on this company: the ACS division of Honeywell is a poor choice for anyone looking for building automation. There are many companies out there that will outperform this dying dinosaur hands down, and at a much better price.

Pros

The team is great and people are excited to have you there. You are given value-added work and projects week 1. There are a lot of other interns at both the graduate and undergraduate level so there is a strong sense of intern community and support. If you have to relocate for the internship, complete housing is provided (they find you an apartment and pay for everything - results on the apartment itself may vary but are generally close to the office).

Cons

Varying start dates led to varying first day experience. The onboarding day for those who had it day 1 was great, but some interns got it after their first week and had little direction day 1.
