Pros

-Friendly co-workers -Benefits (UHA paid out of employers pocket) -Company paid parking (only available for certain positions) -Ability to continue schooling -Promotes from within company

Cons

-STRICT Covid policies Policies at HCAP is stricter than hospitals and restaurants. Policies during delta included being 10 feet apart, don't meet in person with other departments, and unable to eat with fellow co-workers. Breaking them may result in termination or lawsuit from the executive director. Because of this, the environment is described as walking on eggshells and carries a gloomy feel. -High Turn Over Rate I've only been there for a year and I'm the 11th person that has left the corporate office during my time there. I left because of better opportunities, 2 directors who were there longer left without having a job lined up. Workers in the programs have mentioned that they wouldn't take a position in corporate even if the pay was higher. -Ancient tech equipment Computers are 10 years old and the phone is running off an imbedded XP windows system. The mentality by the executive director is to band aid everything while moving forward with technology. One weird quirk the company has is it's printer availability. Everyone has a printer on their desk and more in storage.
