Pros

The local staff and employees that I worked with at the hospital level were exceptional.

Cons

Corporate office has taken over control of hospital practices without any direct knowledge of day to day operations. Extremely poor management and decision making. Management is more concerned with posturing than doing what is right for the patient and the employees. Employees are not valued and workloads unrealistic. I worked there for more than 10 years and it was sad to see how the changes caused an exodus of very valuable and knowledgeable employees.

Pros

Had good benefits and was wonderful to work in the year 2020-2025. Co-workers were friendly around 2023 and got along great with all of the coworkers.

Cons

There are numerous ones that I do not like about the company. Most of the people I worked with were not friendly, micromanaged and the company sold us out to Ensemble Health Partners which is even worse than HSHS on micromanging. I am pretty upset about them not letting us know at least a year ahead or 6 months that we were moving to Ensemble Health Partners. Everyone who was up for retirement stopped working for HSHS because of us moving to Ensemble Health Partners.
