Pros

My co workers were fantastic.

Cons

I was bullied and lied to. The prinicpal was awful. I can not believe she has had her job for as long as she has. She has had mass exits for at least the last 3 to 4 years. That ought to tell you something.

Pros

At an EAS school, there is more autonomy. It is not so microamnaged. Free Pre-k for your kids. Available bonus pay through PFP model.

Cons

Not much coaching happening at EAS schools (for a first year teacher that may be difficult). Not all elementary schools have Pre-k so your kid may not attend the school you work at. I am finding out my new salary on THE DAY I RETURN TO WORK. Crazy.
