Pros
HISD is a great place to work. You have to love your craft, be a Christian, be forgiving. Hisd has been great to me. Came back to teach her after being gone 18 years. HR is great. You have to know your craft, have a clean license and work hard. Hisd pays very well and the kids will always support you. You have to be yourself.
Cons
Games. Idiots that are rude to you that don't appreciate what education is all about. Many there for the money. But if you are there for the kids, nobody can mess with you. Assuming you are licensed and gave good discipline. If you cannot live these kids for who they are, you'll get eaten up. The kids know if you are fake.
