      Houston Methodist research institute is a great place to work. The level of scientific research is very high and competitive with the best research institute in the world. HR people are always there to help and give advice. Great benefits and medical insurance

      Cons

      Sometimes it is necessary to work during the weekend to meet deadlines with experiments. For graduate student the salary is the lowest possible which is not much.

      Great benefits, location, free parking & shuttle service. The salary is about what other organizations pay.

      Cons

      Certain things are department specific. Management need to work together. They ask for staff to be collaborative but don’t take our suggestions into consideration. Overall it’s a great organization to work for.
