Pros
It is almost impossible to get fired or laid off.
Cons
This review is mainly about the Technology/Medical Division, do not know about transformers, lighting, ballast, and transportation. Pay is dismal and benefits are minimal at best. No planning what-so-ever, everything is spur of the moment. Processes and procedures are a hodge-podge of printed forms and computer databases, some 20 years old. Precious office space is used to store copies of printed forms as well as the owners junk. Training is non-existent, unless you can teach yourself. The owners show no interest in the family business and have turned it over to a tyrant and a host of brown-nosers. Supposedly the company has 400M+ in assets, but only the CFO knows if that is true. Capital is constantly wasted, due to the lack of planning, resulting is dismal profit margins, (less than 3% of sales). Marketing research consists of randomly developing products and hoping that something sells. There are no manufacturing or industrial engineers working in the assembly area. Employee turnover is close to 80% every year.
