Pros
The US R&D office seem to have many challenging work opportunities. They do good market survey and offer relatively competitive compensation. They general hire good people to work there (although many don't stay for long).
Cons
The company has a weird management setup where there were a group of US managers and a group of Chinese correspondents. It is difficult to see who is making the decision and taking responsibilities. The management lacks transparency, often doesn't/can't keep promises, and is full of corporate politics.
