Pros

Its a job and they haven't laid us all off and closed the business yet.

Cons

There is no unified vision and no direction. Echostar, the parent company, does not care about Hughes. Morale is near an all time low after lay offs. Raises are typically 1-2%. Time in off is monitored with badges.

We recognize the importance of stability. Maintaining our business footprint remains a core focus as we navigate the current landscape. It is disheartening to hear your concerns regarding the strategic direction and the disconnect you feel with the parent company. We understand that recent workforce adjustments have made for a difficult atmosphere, and we take your feedback about morale and compensation very seriously. Regarding the monitoring of time and office presence, we aim to balance operational needs with professional trust, and your perspective on this policy is helpful for us to hear. We are committed to working toward a more unified vision and a better everyday experience for all our teams.
