      You may want to choose Hughes if you're just graduating and not sure whether you want to stay in academia. Being a corporate environment, if you're good enough you'll make up the time to take some classes at the university in the remaining time.

      Cons

      The hiring process is not challenging, and as a result there's a sizable portion of quite mediocre engineers in the company.

      Can survive if you hang out close with the upper management. This is applicable to most of the departments here.

      Cons

      Politics decide a lot of things. Working hours for the pay is not justified.
