+ Easy technical job (Not lot of challenges) [ There is really no positive to work @ Hughes except that you may have settled closer to office and you just need some job to keep up with family ]
Cons
Tech: - Still RIP protocol being used :) - Lot of technical people in managerial positions. So, no freedom for engineers to work independently - No peer reviews for new designs. For most part senior directors / directors decide what should be done technically and engineers have to go implement - HR team is really bad - No process internally within Hughes to address inter-team related issues. Such problems contiue to hang on until it hurts end customer and thats when issues gets some attention and effort from staff to get fixed - Pay scale is lower than market rate
