Pros
You get a lot of visibility to other departments / business units which helps understanding of overall work being done on a project. You are quickly exposed to a lot of different technology and hands-on work. It is fast-paced, critical work which impacts bottom line. Generally good team environment.
Cons
Aspects of the work require "on the job training" which can be frustrating at times. The job sometimes requires long hours and after-hour support. The company's healthcare benefits could be better.
