Pros

I realize that not all locations and positions are the same, so keep that in mind as you read my review. The benefits were good compared to some of the other jobs I viewed, you're covered your first day. And the vision insurance is very nice. They usually take a lot of time to make sure you understand what you're choosing for benefits. Training was extensive and fun depending on who is in your training group and who is your trainer(s). My co-workers were all friendly and helpful. The managers were also helpful and friendly, but I could sense some favoritism.

Cons

The following is based on my personal experience and may not apply to all other positions. With Customer Service, many times you will not have a poor customer experience. It will just be a normal interaction, but some days you would have to deal with an impatient customer or heaven forbid, the customer's mother! Sometimes these customers are angry and the person they need to vent their frustration out on is the one person they are talking to. You may be asking why I worked in Customer Service, in our office it was a progression of sorts. It wasn't where I wanted to be for sure. I was not allowed flexible hours since the other workers with more seniority had taken ideal hours. My shift ended at 7PM and at least once every two weeks or so, I didn't leave until after 7:15PM because I was on a call, so if you are in a call center be aware of that. As an earlier review said, it is a bit demoralizing and dehumanizing at times. The quotas (a certain number of calls in a day) were somewhat realistic. I mean, I know we need to help people as efficiently as possible, but sometimes our customers needed extra help that took a little more time.

Pros

Working from home, that’s about it.

Cons

Micromanaging, forced to help team members while you’re behind on your own caseload. Denied PTO requests, no PTO all summer and no PTO until the end of January 2027 (that’s supposed supposedly when they will be done ramping up with all their new employees.) a bunch of meetings weekly that are pointless. A weekly case conference where they are forcing nurses to present a complex case in front of over 300 people on zoom. Process changes change constantly, there are no job aid or guideline that help you make a Clinical decision but you will get out of it if you do it incorrectly. Save yourself the trouble and apply somewhere else. It is not worth it.
